The GMC has been meeting regularly to discuss cost-saving measures in light of the current state of the treasury. With approximately $180,000 in available funds and $600,000 reserved for previously approved grants and bounties, the GMC determined it was necessary to review past awards to ensure they still represent high-value, high-priority initiatives. The GMC also discussed the possibility of implementing a deferral plan for future awards but has decided not to move forward with it at this time. The following grants have been revised: - **Summit Program** ($3,000) [Original Application](https://dao.rocketpool.net/t/round-11-call-for-grant-applications-deadline-is-april-7/2775/2) ➤ Cancel - **Patches Discretionary Budget** ($13,000) [Original Application](https://dao.rocketpool.net/t/round-14-gmc-call-for-grant-applications-deadline-is-july-7/3032/4) ➤ Reduce to $4,000 - **Incentives Grant** ($40,000) [Original Application](https://dao.rocketpool.net/t/round-18-gmc-call-for-grant-applications-deadline-is-november-7/3325/8) ➤ Cancel remaining $15,000 $10,000 was already disbursed. $15,000 of the remaining $30,000 is reserved for Ronin. - **STAR Initiative** ($209,000) [Original Application](https://dao.rocketpool.net/t/round-19-gmc-call-for-bounty-applications-deadline-is-december-7/3377/4) ➤ Reduce by 50% These adjustments result in total cost savings of $129,500. The GMC will also be reviewing active bounties and updating them as needed. A follow-up post with those updates will be published in the coming week. --- _[View the full topic](https://dao.rocketpool.net/t/gmc-grant-updates-april-2025/3605)._
