Who is the proposed retrospective award recipient?
The StakeRocketPool team is the proposed award trustee, but not the beneficiary. The beneficiary will be the UltraSound.Money team to fund their mission as a public good for our ecosystem.
This campaign is proposed by the StakeRocketPool team that is lead by Kent Phillips (@Kentphilly) and Matthew Bergwall (@mattbergwall). The team runs three mini nodes today @ stakerocketpool.eth, and our website is StakeRocketPool.xyz.
What specific project or work is the retrospective award in recognition of? Please detail what the project or work entailed and the duration over which it took place.
We started in 2022 by producing educational content and publicly supporting Rocket Pool community. We are requesting support for a future charity campaign with UltraSound.Money that we started in 2022. Will the oDAO consider donating the RPL required to launch an LEB node for the UltraSound Money team?
First the education we created in 2022. StakeRocketPool published three articles on our Blog to help spread education regarding Rocket Pool and decentralized Ethereum.

StakeRocketPool has also donated a Rockeeter NFT for the raffle of the RocketFuel’s 100th show.
The UltraSound Money LEB campaign will be a gift to help connect our communities and to give a donation to fund their future efforts as a public good for the EVM ecosystem. Let’s unite our communities around our upcoming LEB mini node launch by fundraising to give their team an LEB node (8 ETH + 2.4 ETH in RPL).
Our team would like to run the campaign, provide POAP NFTs, and support the education and integration of the

We minted 100 POAP “ULtraSound Money X Rocket Pool” NFTs to reward community participants for this campaign (app.poap.xyz/admin/events/93722)
How we give out these POAPs is TBD, but could be for donating, sharing, or helping connect our communities via a new Twitter Handle , or something valuable from the oDAOs perspective.
This campaign has not yet started and is the reason we are applying for a grant. The granted RPL will be used in conjunction with the POAP NFTs to incentivize onboarding into the RPL ecosystem.

StakeRocketPool has pledged that all of our resources & content will remain open source forever. Any new content or resources we offer will be open-source as well.

How did the project or work for which the retrospective award would be given help people looking to stake ETH for rETH?
We have focused on supporting and promoting the use of the RocketPool protocol for staking Ethereum. We have published educational content to help guide Ethereum investors looking to stake via rETH. We have measurable increased the rETH holders by 3 addresses (not great, but something).
Additionally, we have published a blog post about “Liquid Staking Derivatives (LSDs) and rETH” which has provided further information and guidance to people looking to stake ETH for rETH.
The UltraSound Money LEB campaign will help spread content and buzz to Ethereum investors who are aware of Rocket Pool but don’t yet fully understand or haven’t decided to support yet via acquiring rETH.
How did the project or work for which the retrospective award would be given help rETH holders?
The educational content This can increase the value of the rETH ecosystem by bringing in new participants and increasing the size and strength of the network. By promoting the use of rETH and supporting new members as they join the network, StakeRocketPool has helped to increase the value of the rETH ecosystem and contribute to its growth and success.
The UltraSound Money LEB campaign will grow narrative around rETH as the best Ethereum LSD which could increase the premium on rETH to NAV.
How did the project or work for which the retrospective award would be given help people looking to run a Rocket Pool node for the first time?
Our efforts have helped people looking to run a RocketPool node for the first time by providing them with information and resources about the RocketPool network and how to participate in it.
Education is the first hurdle before investors become comfortable to decide to run a RocketPool node.
We believe that by educating more people about the value proposition of RocketPool nodes, we will be able to see a few new nodes activated beyond the one node for the UltraSound.Money team.
The UltraSound Money LEB campaign will create one new LEB node for sure. Additional first-time nodes will likely increase once the threshold is lowered 50% for the ETH required to self-host.
How did the project or work for which the retrospective award would be given help people already running a Rocket Pool node?
Our efforts may have indirectly benefited people already running a RocketPool node by helping to grow and strengthen the network. The stronger the network the better for node operators (like ourselves).
How did the project or work for which the retrospective award would be given how does this help the Rocket Pool community?
The UltraSound Money LEB campaign is intended to help grow organic marketing that Rocket Pool is #1 staking provider and to support the UltraSound Money’s mission as a public good organization supporting Ethereum’s decentralized growth.
By incentivizing community members to participate in this campaign ahead, we are helping to grow and develop the RocketPool community through increased engagement and support for important Ethereum communities.
How did the project or work for which the retrospective award would be given how does this help RPL holders?
By incentivizing community members to participate in this campaign, we are helping to grow and develop the RocketPool community through increased engagement and support for important Ethereum communities.
Supporting Ethereum’s status as a premium asset could directly positively impact the RPL token’s value. The more individual investors who put a premium on Ethereum, the more investors will value RPL’s value offering, and our efforts to support these communities can help contribute to this.

How much RPL is the applicant requesting be awarded to the recipient?
535 RPL ~ 10.4ETH to donate to Ultra.Sound money LEB8 mini node campaign.
The RPL will be held in a Gnosis Safe that will be funded by StakeRocketPool. The ETH and RPL raised from the campaign will go directly into the Safe wallet. The Safe wallet (multi-sig)will have the objective of donating 100% of net funds (minus gas costs) going to Ultra.Sound Money’s support of the Rocket Pool ecosystem.
The Safe wallet will have 5 signers; 2 from Rocket Pool oDAO, 2 from UltraSound Money, and 1 from StakeRocketPool.
Conflict of Interest
N/A. We are not and have not been paid or incentivized to support Rocket Pool.
Does the person or persons requesting the retrospective award have any conflicts of interest to disclose? (Please disclose here if you are a member of the GMC or if you have nominated a member of the GMC for this retrospective award).
We are not members of the GMC today nor are we paid to support the Rocket Pool community in any way. We hope to join the oDAO in 2023.
