Protocol DAO Security Council

Hi Everyone.

I would like to introduce readers to offerings established entity, like OpenZeppelin can bring in to the Security Council.

Company mission is to secure an open economy. OpenZeppelin contracts library is the most used solidity smart contract source, has platform for code, audit deploy, monitoring and operate on blockchain.
Now these offerings expand to DAO specific as well.

OpenZeppelin experience with DAOs includes significant role as Security Partner for the Compound DAO, where they act pause-guardian and conduct wargames.
As leading security player, they take active participation in the SEAL Wargames initiative and security standards developed by EEA.

Beside that security work with Compound is wider and includes:

  • Smart contract audits
  • Governance proposal reviews
  • Governance feeds & monitoring ( see their discord )
  • Governance proposal execution automation
  • Security & Market monitoring feeds ( see their discord )

Also recently stepped in as Arbitrum DAO security council member, where scope is similarly large, and includes ecosystem support and open-source development

Overall, I love the idea of being decentralized as much as possible… however for large protocols, the security council members must be well established participants that wide Eth community can trust.

If you have any questions or interest, I am in RPL Discord, always welcome to ping me in there
