What specific project or work is the retrospective award in recognition of? Please detail what the project or work entailed and the duration over which it took place.
@trainface contributed code to rescue-proxy, rescue-api, and rescue-ui to diligently add support for Smart Contract signatures to the Rescue Node. Prior to this work, solo stakers with 0x01 credentials that were smart contract wallets such as gnosis safes were unable to use the rescue node.
Now, they can!
I worked with him closely over 2 weeks in October while he completed the work in his spare time.

Costs
How much USD $ is the applicant requesting be awarded to the recipient?
$750
It’s substantially less than he deserves, but proportionate to previous funding for Rescue Node development.
Is the applicant requesting RPL or LUSD?
RPL (orange pill him) but I imagine he’ll be equally happy to accept LUSD.
