I think both choices are very good. LayerZero has advantages in terms of volume and less centralisation. Chainlink has an advantage in terms of ability to integrate with more complex messaging (eg cross-chain mint/burn of the underlying; this is more a possible advantage than a concrete one tbh) and perhaps more institutional trust/partnership. I think the core benefit of having a consistent choice will be achieved regardless.

CCIP has emerged as the community’s choice for our standard bridge on non-rollup chains. We’ll engage with them to roll out support for TAC and Plasma.
