Eligibility
The GMC reviewed knoshua’s eligibility in light of the original terms, which stated that reviewers would not qualify for submission rewards. Despite knoshua’s own scores being excluded from calculations, their submission secured second place by a significant margin. Knoshua had been asked to step into the reviewer role after an extended period in which no one else volunteered to act as the final reviewer. Considering these circumstances, the GMC determined that knoshua should be eligible for the full $2,000 award.

Total Compesation
The original awarded amount stated:

Submissions with the highest cumulative scores will be awarded as follows:

  • Tier 1 (1st place - 2nd place) - $2,000 each
  • Tier 2 (3rd place - 5th place) - $1,000 each
  • Tier 3 (6th place - 20th place) - $250 each
  • Ineligible - The submission lacked clarity or detail

In the event of a tie, ranked choice voting will be used from data collected in the ‘Favorite Applications’ section. A maximum 10k USD will be dispersed based on these criteria. The default payout token will be RPL.

The GMC identified an error in this language, as awarding 20 submissions would surpass the $10,000 maximum payout. To address this, the GMC opted for a more inclusive approach by honoring 20 submissions rather than capping the total compensation.
