About this project
This design system was developed by Token Motion, as part of an ongoing grant supported by the Grants and Management Committee (GMC). The goal of the grant is to help expand Rocket Pool’s visual and educational presence by creating accessible, shareable media for the community. This initiative is community-driven and independent from the Rocket Pool core team.
What is RP²?
RP² is a design system built to streamline the creation of educational and engaging visual content — primarily square-format GIF animations and static PNGs. It standardizes elements like layout, typography, spacing, and visuals so that creators can focus more on the message and less on the formatting.
Why does this matter?
When content is consistent and visually appealing, it’s easier to understand and share. RP² enables contributors to quickly turn well-written, concise copy into polished explainers and infographics that can live on Twitter, Farcaster, the forum, etc.
How can you use it or contribute?
- Writers/Researchers: Share a few clear sentences on a topic, and we can turn that into a visual explainer.
- Community Members: Suggest topics or feedback that could become great visual content.
What kind of content fits?
- Protocol explainers
- Tokenomics breakdowns
- Governance proposals
- Growth metrics
- Security education
- …anything that supports understanding and engagement with Rocket Pool
Just to clarify
This is not an official Rocket Pool branding update. It’s a community education initiative created by Token Motion, with support from the GMC. It’s meant to support contributors in producing useful media faster and more frequently.
Next Steps
Feel free to jump in with copy suggestions, topic ideas, or questions. This thread will serve as a hub for collaboration and submissions.
Also worth noting: anyone in the community is welcome to use RP² as a framework for creating Rocket Pool-related graphics — whether for social media, explainer threads, or even presentation decks. It’s an open system designed to make high-quality visual content easy and fast to produce.
Need some visuals for a presentation? Drop a note in this Discord thread and @sleety.eth can whip something up using the RP² system.
