DietPi is a lightweight Debian based distro with images available for RaspberryPi, Odroid, NanoPi, OrangePi, etc (and as I’m reviewing the supported hardware list, even x86!)
Being so lightweight, there were just a couple of things missing that I needed to install in order to get the RocketPool SmartNode installer to run on an OrangePi5+ (on DietPi v9.5.1)
- sudo apt install lsb-release
- sudo apt install xz-utils
Then install as per Rocket Pool following the Linux arm64 sections. Enjoy!
