DeFi Integration
Reserve bsdETH/ETH+
There are currently two RFC-stage proposals. The ETH+ proposal aims to reduce the rETH share. While rETH’s redemption performance is not ideal at the moment, introducing a force quit mechanism could significantly improve it.
As for bsdETH, the proposal remains under internal review by the Reserve team. We’ve created a discussion group and are waiting to schedule a time to move things forward.
Resolv
We’ve pitched the Resolv team and formed a discussion group. Their initial idea was to integrate rETH into a weETH/rETH Balancer pool, but there has been no follow-up.
Their fast-track integration of weETH is largely due to EtherFi’s investment, and they’ve already swapped over $70M+ wstETH into weETH.
Ethena
We connected with their COO and set up a group to explore collaboration. However, they have no plans to increase their LST allocation, and rETH isn’t supported as margin collateral on CEXs, leading to a closed opportunity. So the deal was failed and closed.
TreeHouse tETH
We pitched their team and created a working group. However, their integration only supports wstETH and they maintain an exclusive partnership with Lido, so this opportunity has also been closed.
USUAL ETH0
We’ve reached out to the team and created a group to discuss rETH integration. With ETH0+ — their upcoming ETH-based stablecoin product inspired by the successful USD0+ — we noted that wstETH is already onboarded (snapshot proposal). We’re now exploring the opportunity for rETH to join.

Safe Wallet
Aim to list rETH within Safe wallet app, we have submitted the form (Get in Touch with Safe - NoteForms) and we are awaiting feedback from their team.
Strategicethreserve
We reached out to the website maintainer to list Rocket Pool’s rETH, but there was no interest at this time.
Other Idea
The following are preliminary ideas intended to spark discussion. Each would benefit from deeper analysis and supporting data before any decision-making:
-
Obol DVT + Smartnode : Obol provides incentives to node operators (NOs), which helps subsidize their operating costs. However, due to the collaborative setup involving multiple parties, the staking rewards for NOs are diluted.
-
Increase rETH yield: Without adjusting the commission fee, reallocating a portion of the priority fees—currently fully granted to NOs—to stakers would increase rETH yield. In comparison, most LST protocols already treat priority fees as part of staking rewards, with the majority distributed to stakers.
-
Balancer pool: The existing Balancer pool of sfxETH/wstETH/rETH could be optimized by replacing sfxETH with weETH, potentially increasing fee yield for LPs through better liquidity and alignment with recent market integrations.
This process required validation and coordination along the way — sincere thanks to @maverick, @ShfRyn and @G-rant for their valuable support.
