Hi everyone,
I’m relatively new to the Rocket Pool ecosystem and have been diving into the details of the DAO governance structure. While I understand the basics of how RPIP proposals are introduced and voted on, I still have a few questions about the overall process and how community members can best participate.
- Voting Power and Influence: From my understanding, RPL stakers and node operators have different levels of voting power. How exactly does this work in practice? Are there specific thresholds that significantly impact the outcome of votes?
- RPIP Process and Implementation: Once an RPIP is approved, what does the implementation timeline typically look like? Are there cases where an approved proposal doesn’t get executed for some reason?
- Delegation and Governance Involvement: I’ve seen some discussions about delegation, where members can delegate their votes to others. How commonly is this used, and are there best practices for choosing a delegate?
- Future Governance Trends: Given the evolving nature of decentralized governance, are there any upcoming discussions or potential changes to the Rocket Pool DAO’s structure that members should be aware of?
I’d love to hear insights from experienced community members on how to stay engaged and have a meaningful impact on governance. Any resources or past discussions you’d recommend would be greatly appreciated!
